Allison Gourley's 14th Birthday

Debbie was us before 7 am and made waffles for all the girls.  Libby who left earlier ate an orange and took some granola bars.  She gets sick if she eats too early in the morning.  Ocie got up before Tylee left to go to work and both ate breakfast.  The other two girls Clara and Ellie got up about 9 am and ate waffles and fruit Debbie had for them.  We had prayer together before starting our day.  I sent Elder Baylen Johnson an email wishing him a happy 22nd birthday tomorrow.  I sent Allison a happy 14th birthday text today.  Debbie and I had prayer.  Note: I finished watching a YouTube video about John Hunyadi who in 1452 surrendered the regency to King Ladislas V, who came of age, and became Count of Besztercze and captain-general of Hungary and successfully defended the city of Belgrade against Sultan Mehmed II's Ottoman forces in 1456, marking a significant victory against Ottoman expansion in Europe.  Sultan Mehmed II (1432-1481) of the Ottoman Empire had conquered Constantinople in 1453, ending the Byzantine Empire and remaking the city as an Islamic capital. I am getting back near to what I consider my ideal weight, 182 to 183 pounds, the 3 blood glucose monitors I have, oldest before 2022 read 113, the one after 2022 but before 2025 read 74, and the one I am now using bought in 2022 read 85.  I took all the garbage and recycle containers to the street to be picked up on Monday before Debbie got back from taking Ocie and some of the other granddaughters home.  I read and later I went to the Legacy Center.  I climbed on the stairstepper 75 floors, walked and jogged (grandpa shuffle) 1/2 mile, lifted weights, did chhinups, etc. for an hour or so.  I came home and read some more before I ate  (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), one of the Panda Express meals I bought yesterday to help Gracie's basketball team.  Debbie ate the other Panda Express meal.  I may have some desert later.  I spent the afternoon reading the WW2 book. Debbie and I had. prayer together before going to bed at 10:30 pm.

 1 Mar 2025, Saturday Priorit ized Daily 8:00 pm - Camden opens his mission call to Dalas Texas South Mission We slept in, had prayer, and started the day.  Debbie's chest cold is not getting better.  Brad Gale, P. A., sent her a message that he would call as soon as he has a break.  I went to the Wells Fargo Bank here in town and got 200 new one-dollar bills for Debbie to make leis for Ethan and Gracie, who are graduating from high school this summer.  Brad Gale, PA, called Debbie back and sent a prescription to the Costco Pharmacy here in Lehi for 5 Azithromycin 250 mg tablets.  I picked them up and got a few groceries.  When I got home, Debbie took two of the antibiotics.   We drove over to Patrick and Anndalyn's for their son, Camden Hobbs to open his mission call to Dalas Texas South Mission.  He goes into the MTC on June 23rd.  The aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were here.  The ones that were not, those in Twin F...

 15 Jan 2025, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily 6:30 PM - Sleigh ride and dinner with Debbie at Park City (my 81st Birthday Party) I was up at 7 am, had prayer, and checked my text and email messages. Paul Ellison, Attorney in Bremen, emailed me a copy of the deed for 1.6 acres next to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church to build a family center.  In return, they assume responsibility for maintaining the graves of William Alexander and Manah M. McAlpin and Old Indian Cemetery at N33 48 24.5029 W85 21 17.5924.  Curt Lathon, a deacon, at the church did not get back to me today if Monique at the Haralson County Tax Assessor's office got a copy of the recorded deed.   Debbie went to Laura's and took Libby to lunch.  Libby had been at a job interview in Lehi.  Debbie got her hair fixed and bought a couple pairs of shoes to try and find some that don't hurt her feet.  She can take them back in a week if they hurt her feet.   Roy Bryant calle...

2 Feb 2025, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Andrew Davis' 11th Birthday Luke Hobbs 16th Birthday Debbie and I had prayer together.  I got a text from Michael and Matthew last night.  Michael is sick with the flu.  I texted Andrew through his mother's cell phone wishing him a happy 11th birthday and Luke a text on his mobile phone wishing him a happy 16th birthday from me and Debbie.  Debbie and I attended Sacrament, Fast and Testimony meeting.  Two babies were blessed by their fathers, and many testimonies were shared.  We attended Sunday school; Brother Peck taught the class.   After church, we came home.  Matthew called on his way home from a daddy-daughter campout with Bella and Ava.  Melodie is with Madeline at a cheer competition.  Matthew told me he had played tennis and had lunch with Michael this past week.  He told me because I copied Autumn on the text I sent to Michael his hands are now tied he can not be involved in ...
