Note: When someone says to you, "You and what army?" Answer as Elisha did to the servant, "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 2 Kings 6: 16
“Don’t underestimate your family on the other side of the veil.” Elder Jeffrey R. Holland
If members really understood, I do not think any of them would ever leave the Church. That is why "faith" is the first of the "First 4 Principals of The Gospel".
Note: I was studying Church History today about the conflict or tension between Emma Hale Smith and Brigham Young regarding what property and assets belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her. Emma did not want to have anything to do with Brigham
Debbie was up early, and I slept in until 8 am. We got ready for the day and had prayer together. At 10:15 am Debbie and I drove over to Abbington Memory Center to prepare for sacrament and church meeting today. The meeting was already going, the sacrament song was being sung before the sacrament was passed. We partook of the bread and water and I led the young deacon to the residents on both ends of the hall who wanted the sacrament. Sister Palir Montez who was in her room asked me if someone would give her a blessing. After church I got brother Carson to go with me and we gave her a blessing. When we left Abbington Memory Center we drove to the Lehi 7th Ward, our home ward, I attended Priesthood and Debbie attended Relief Society. We had a good lesson about supporting our leaders. One example of leaders was a visual example of Aaron and Hur (supporting) holding Moses' arm up during Israel's war with the Amalekites. Joshua was the captain of Israel's army. As long as Moses held his arms up Israel would win when his arms went down the Amalekites would start winning. After we got home Gary Pyne, who has the assignment for Abbington Memory Center, came by and released Debbie and me from our calling to serve Abbington Memory Center. He offered a nice prayer and blessing on us and our home. I volunteered in our priesthood meeting to conduct church services for our ward next month, Feb 16th. I took Debbie to the SLC Airport to catch her Delta Flight 1342 departing 3:35 pm. Her TSA/Global Entry card did not work and she had to stand in the regular line. The line was long and we at not anticipated this. She made her flight with her sister, Karlene, who is also going to the GPOD meeting tomorrow. I waited for Kylee to bring Debbie's laundry she left at Ryan and Stephanie's yesterday. Kylee texted me; she is bringing it to the house tomorrow. Beth called and I FaceTimed with her and Tucker. Jeff Nixon is sponsoring Tucker through his company to go to Malaysia this summer to do humanitarian work as Ethan did last year. I had my personal prayer and went to bed at about 10:30 am. I talked to Matthew and Rae Lynn earlier. I tried to call Michael but could not reach him. Debbie and Karlene were solalizing with GPOD board members.
