Note: Abraham Lincoln the 16th President of the United States was also a wrestler.  He wrestled for 12 years and competed in over 300 matches.   He only lost once, it was to Pvt. Lorenzo Dow Thompson in a regimental championship match during the Black Hawk War of 1832.  Lincoln was serving in the Illinois Volunteers during the Black Hawk War.  In the regimental championship match, Thompson defeated Lincoln in two straight falls.  Lincoln was thrown out of the ring and suffered his first and only defeat.  Lincoln took the loss with grace and congratulated Thompson.   Lincoln was 6'4", 180 pounds, and was an impressive physical specimen.  Lincoln's strength and endurance were seen as important characteristics for a senior politician.  Lincoln's rep as a wrestler may have even helped him get elected as U.S. president in 1860.  Lincoln is in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.   Abraham Lincoln's illustrious wrestling career - The Tufts Daily                                                                            Was Abraham Lincoln a Wrestler? - Britannica

Debbie and I slept in this morning.  We had prayer together and Debbie went to get her hair fixed.  We let Jody sleep until she woke.  She went to see Shelby and helped her today before going back to Twin Falls.  I called and talked to April Baldridge and her boss Seath White from Rome GA. (his dad is a banker in Rome and he went to Darlington School) in the Synovus Commercial Loan Department.  They took my call before they went into a meeting in Dalton.  They both are going to help me get the loan package put together.  I called Michael who was in Florida.  He is going to see Monique Carruth in the Haralson County Tax Assessor's Office tomorrow to sign the two 10-year tax covenants with the State of Georgia tomorrow.  I called Monique but she had gone home for the day.  I talked to Kim and she said she would let Monique that Michael McAlpin is coming tomorrow to sign and renew the tax covenants for the farm and the land next to Susan and Amy's.  I exercised on the vibrating machine and studied scriptures.  I got a bill from Life Line Screening for $60.00.  I called and paid the $60.00 with my American Express card.  Later I went with Debbie to take Valentine's presents to Pat and Anndalyn's family and then to Jared and Jami's family.  The Camelbak, packs of hydration power, and water purification tablets for my trip to the Himalayas I ordered yesterday came today.  I checked them and made a hydration drink before storing everything in my clothes closet for April.  When Debbie and I got home we got ready for bed and had prayer together.

I made a Note from studying today.  Most of us do not understand how great God's love is for all his children.  If we did, His love would be more of a shield for us from pride and contention, two of the most used tools of Satan.                                                                                                       Many want to be a judge for God.  God said, "No, that is not your job, but Mine".  Your job is to forgive and love one another and leave the judging to Me.  D&C 64:10 I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you, it is required to forgive all men.

Many people do not understand there are only two churches on the Earth, one is God's Church and the other is Lucifer's Church.  There are churches inside each of these two major churches.  At the center of one major church is, Christ, and at the center of the other is the Devil.  When I was a child one of the games we played was "hotter and colder".   A prize or something was hidden and not visible to anyone.  A person designated as the caller would call out to the individual looking for the item warmer when they got close and colder when they were moving away.  Relating this to God, when a person is getting close, the caller (the Holy Ghost) causes you to feel warm as you move away and toward the Devil the Holy Ghost withdraws, and the warmth is taken away.                                                                                I hope we always pray, to draw near to God, and ask Him to send his Holy Spirit to guide us so we become one with our Savior.   That is the very center and purpose of the church (Church) to become perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect, filled with love and light.

D&C 10:67 Behold, this is my doctrine—whosoever repenteth and cometh unto me, the same is my church.                                                   68 Whosoever declareth more or less than this, the same is not of me, but is against me; therefore he is not of my church.                                       69 And now, behold, whosoever is of my church, and endureth of my church to the end, him will I establish upon my rock, and the gates of h--- shall not prevail against them.

D&C 1:30 And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, ((Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) inside the major church) and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually

1 Nephi 14:10 And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the w---- of all the earth.
