Matthew and Bella fry back home from Provo Airport on Allegiance Air

A mother drives her children to school each morning, about a 30-minute drive.  She uses that time to teach them the Come Follow Me lesson from the scriptures that week.  One morning they got to school before she finished the lesson and she told them she would pick up tomorrow where they left off.  She said that she wanted their grandmother to be in on the last part of the lesson.  She will share an experience in her life.  The mother's story she told her children was when she was going through one of the hardest and dark times of her life, she was on her knees praying when two women came to her.  She recognized one as her mother's grandmother and the other as her dad's grandmother.  She was very close to both of them as a young girl.  Her mother's grandmother gave her a music box with a doll on top.   The music box played the tune Edelweiss.   The love and peace she felt that night from the two women gave her strength and courage to keep going.  When she got in the car with her children the next day, the Church's radio station was playing Edelweiss.  She said you never hear Edelweiss played on the radio anymore, much less on a child's radio station.  She got her mother on the phone with her children and told them the story.           by Dr. Wendy Ulric

Debbie and I slept in; we had prayer together, and Matthew and Bella are still sleeping.  I took Debbie to get a Mammogram at Revere Health Imaging in American Fork.  I drove to Kneaders and had breakfast and brought back some french toast for Bella, Matthew, and Debbie.  I picked Debbie up and got back in time for everyone to have breakfast.  Matthew drove to the Provo Airport.  He and Bella were running a little behind schedule.  I told Matthew about the negative response from April Baldridge with Synovus and  Michael Wilson with Builtwell Bank.  Matthew suggested I try to buy one partner at a time, Nancy Abercrombie first for $2,833,333 and then Janie at $5,833,333.  He thinks it might be easier to get financing that way.  Once the ownership of Friendship 89-bed Nursing Home owned by Janie Morris Dunman changes, there is a small window of time allowed by the state of Georgia to rebuild.  I gave Matthew and Bella a copy of Quotes and Thoughts copied from my 2024 journal to take home to the family.  I wrote a short message to Matthew, Melodie,  Madeline, Bella, and Ava on the cover page.  On the way back home from the Provo Airport I stopped at Costco and picked up Debbie's medicine for her heat and fruit to make fruit trays for those coming to visit Tylee after church this Sunday.  She is leaving for the Mission Training Center before she leaves for her mission.  When I got home I took a nap and Debbie drove to the bank and deposited a check Karlene sent from the farm.  I took a nap; later Laura and Allison, her daughter, brought potato soup and homemade bread over for dinner.  Jared brought Porter and borrowed chairs, and other items for dinner after church this Sunday, Tylee's farewell.  Porter texted me his email address and I sent him the note about the first kiss from my journal on 18 Feb this year.  Debbie and I studied and listened to Come Follow Me, D&C 12-17.  Karlene called and talked to Debbie and Elain called and talked to me.  Both were good conservation, Debbie's with her sister was about the farm and taxes and mine with Elain was about her daughter, Blake.  Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.  

I talked to Rajesh (Yaknath) Adhikari and his wife, Pallavi (KC) Adhikari today They now have a young daughter.  Katmandu, Nepal is about 13 hours ahead of us in Utah.  Yaknah's mobile phone number is +977-984-939-6856.  I spoke with Yaknah on my iPhone through WhatsApp in Katmandu, Nepal.  They still have church services, but not in the same place I attended in Sep 2019.  They are now meeting on Saturday.  He will send me the location and time.
