3:00 pm - Debbie's appointment with Dr. Lee McCann for a consultation for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Provo, 395 W. Cougar Blvd, 5th floor, Provo  phone 801-357-7081 (Intermountain Health)

Debbie and I slept in.  I am getting over my cold, but Debbie's cold is hanging on and not getting better.  We had prayer, showered, and got ready for the day.  Debbie canceled the appointment with Dr. Brown in Lindon and got her medical records printed for her to pick up and take to Dr. McCann when she meets with him this afternoon.  I called and talked to Brett, son-in-law, Dan Truitt, bother-in-law, and my sister, Elain.   Laura picked Debbie and me up and took us to Dr. McCann's office at 395 W. Cougar Blvd. in Provo at 3 pm.  He reviewed all the reports and medical records and explained how the Aorta is completely blocked. The aorta is the largest blood vessel in your body. It’s more than 1 foot long and an inch in diameter at its widest point. As the aorta makes its way toward your pelvis, its diameter narrows to two centimeters.  I asked about robotic surgery, and he said it could be done.  Debbie and Laura listened to him and the different options.   He told them to take their time and after they had thought about it to let him know.  I asked Lee, Dr. McCann, if his wife was 72 and in Debbie's situation, what would he have, robotic or open heart surgery?   He said it would not be robotic.  I asked why, and he said there have not been enough studies and it is too new.   Debbie scheduled surgery for next Wednesday, March 5th, at 7:00 am here at Provo Hospital.  Laura took us home and she put clean sheets on the beds up stairs before going home.  I went to Walmart Pharmacy and bought a few items with the Humana credit card.  I had to go back three times to get all the items, baby aspirin, 81 mg, antibiotic bar soap, etc.  I checked the postal tracking numbers on the 3 books, Quotes and Thoughts from my 2024 journal.  I mailed them on Monday, February 24th.  Debbie and I had prayer and got to bed at about 11:30 pm.

A., sent her a message that he would call as soon as he has a break.  I went to the Wells Fargo Bank here in town and got 200 new one-dollar bills for Debbie to make leis for Ethan and Gracie, who are graduating from high school this summer.  Brad Gale, PA, called Debbie back and sent a prescription to the Costco Pharmacy here in Lehi for 5 Azithromycin 250 mg tablets.  I picked them up and got a few groceries.  When I got home, Debbie took two of the antibiotics.   We drove over to Patrick and Anndalyn's for their son, Camden Hobbs to open his mission call to Dalas Texas South Mission.  He goes into the MTC on June 23rd.  The aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were here.  The ones that were not, those in Twin F...

 15 Jan 2025, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily 6:30 PM - Sleigh ride and dinner with Debbie at Park City (my 81st Birthday Party) I was up at 7 am, had prayer, and checked my text and email messages. Paul Ellison, Attorney in Bremen, emailed me a copy of the deed for 1.6 acres next to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church to build a family center.  In return, they assume responsibility for maintaining the graves of William Alexander and Manah M. McAlpin and Old Indian Cemetery at N33 48 24.5029 W85 21 17.5924.  Curt Lathon, a deacon, at the church did not get back to me today if Monique at the Haralson County Tax Assessor's office got a copy of the recorded deed.   Debbie went to Laura's and took Libby to lunch.  Libby had been at a job interview in Lehi.  Debbie got her hair fixed and bought a couple pairs of shoes to try and find some that don't hurt her feet.  She can take them back in a week if they hurt her feet.   Roy Bryant calle...

2 Feb 2025, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Andrew Davis' 11th Birthday Luke Hobbs 16th Birthday Debbie and I had prayer together.  I got a text from Michael and Matthew last night.  Michael is sick with the flu.  I texted Andrew through his mother's cell phone wishing him a happy 11th birthday and Luke a text on his mobile phone wishing him a happy 16th birthday from me and Debbie.  Debbie and I attended Sacrament, Fast and Testimony meeting.  Two babies were blessed by their fathers, and many testimonies were shared.  We attended Sunday school; Brother Peck taught the class.   After church, we came home.  Matthew called on his way home from a daddy-daughter campout with Bella and Ava.  Melodie is with Madeline at a cheer competition.  Matthew told me he had played tennis and had lunch with Michael this past week.  He told me because I copied Autumn on the text I sent to Michael his hands are now tied he can not be involved in ...
