1st day with diarrhea

12:30 am Mahendra, night clerk at the Kathmandu Suite Home Hotel. Sudip helped me bring 3 bags down from room 406.  Mahendra checked my computer bag in a locked area behind the front desk, and my duffle bag was put in storage until I return.  Mahendra gave us claim tickets for our bags and two large to-go breakfast boxes. Sudip carried both of our large backpacks, and I took a small one with water, etc., about 1/4 mile where we met our van and other hikers going to Ramachap.   We rode for 41/2 hr.     Arrived in Ramachap on the Sunkoshi River.  Sudip had one of the group who had gotten in the front seat to get out and give the front seat for our ride over rough roads to Ramechap to catch a flight to Lukau.                      At Lukau we met Raj, our porter, at the airport.                                         On the trail leaving Lukau we went through arches with a bust of Tenzing Norgay, a Sherpa, a lady and the first person with Hillary to climb to the summit of Mt. Everest.  Tenzing was a guide for Sir. Edmund Hillary from New Zealand.  They reached the summit on May 29th, 1953.                        We hike on to Phakading and spent the night at a Tea/Guest House.  The place reminds me of Aspin Grove in Utah

                                                 

Day 4th/14th at night, around 2:00am, start drive around 4/5 hours to the Ramechap and we catch the flight for Lukau and have breakfast there and start trek for Phakding depending on our time we can have lunch some where between or Phakading.
