1:00 pm Abby Hobbs' state track meet at BYU

Note: President Donald Trump has much in common with President Theodore Roosevelt, who built the Panama Canal, 1904-1914, a human-made waterway connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans across the Isthmus of Panama, 40 miles long from shoreline to shoreline.  It opened to traffic on August 15, 1914, and Theodore Roosevelt died January 6, 1919.

Debbie and I had prayer, showered, and got ready for the day.  I checked my email and CLEAR has opened a way to get TSA passenger approval and I applied but still need to go by TSA office in the SLC Airport.  Later we met Ryan, Stephanie, Carter, Mckay and Randy Hansen, Stephanie's dad to watch Abbey run in state track meet at BYU.  We watched her run in 3 races from 1 to 7 pm.  She did great but their team did well.  In the last relay she brought them from 5th place to 2nd place but the girl who ran the last leg of the relay could not keep up.  I too some pictures and race reminded me of the first track and field race I had ever seen at Berry College when Frand and Peggy McEarchern's granddaughter was going to Darlington High School ran.  I had never seen someone run with such form and ease.  It reminded me of a thoroughbred race horse.  I took a picture of one of the girls running today with good form, but it was an effort, and she was not running with ease.  Randy bought dinner for everyone at Raising Cain chicken restaurant.   After the meet, we stopped at Macey's to pick up some groceries on the way home.  Ryan and Stephanie took the children to Pat and Anndalyn's and left Carter, and Mckay.  They brought Ocie back with Andrew.  Debbie and I had prayer with them before going to bed at about 11:30 pm.
