5:00 pm Saratoga Springs Temple endowment session with Kylie


Debbie was up at 5:30 AM and took flowers up to Layton, Utah to Tony.  Jody is using them for part of the invitation to Shelby's friends to be her bridesmaids.  I got up at 8 am and had prayer.  Michael traveled all night from San Clemente and went straight to his office in Draper.  When Debbie got home, we had prayer together.  I ordered a set of golf clubs for Brett and Rae Lynn to give to Ethan.  When Debbie got home, we had prayer together.  I paid the $150 copay for the EKG at Holly Cross Hospital.  I showered and shaved.  I talked to Debbie and ordered a live plant arrangement to be sent to Linquist Funeral Home in Bountiful for Henry David Haygood from the McAlpin family with a sympathy card or note. “God gave us memory so that we might have roses in the Decembers of our lives.” It suggests that cherished memories act as a source of solace and happiness when life is challenging or feels bleak, like roses blooming in winter. Signed the McAlpin family, Leonard, Debbie, Michael, Matthew, Beth, and Rae Lynn.  At 4:30 pm we drove over to the Saratoga Temple and met Kylie for an endowment session at 5:15 pm.  After the session we took Kylie to dinner at an Acai bowl restaurant in Saratoga Springs before coming home.  Elain sent me a text and left a voice message asking if I would send her some old pictures of us when we were children.  I looked for them for about two hours.  When Michael got home about 10 pm, we visited.   About 11:30 pm Michael joined me and Debbie in family prayer.  We put his electric pickup truck on a charger at home.  We got to bed at about midnight.

 1 Mar 2025, Saturday Priorit ized Daily 8:00 pm - Camden opens his mission call to Dalas Texas South Mission We slept in, had prayer, and started the day.  Debbie's chest cold is not getting better.  Brad Gale, P. A., sent her a message that he would call as soon as he has a break.  I went to the Wells Fargo Bank here in town and got 200 new one-dollar bills for Debbie to make leis for Ethan and Gracie, who are graduating from high school this summer.  Brad Gale, PA, called Debbie back and sent a prescription to the Costco Pharmacy here in Lehi for 5 Azithromycin 250 mg tablets.  I picked them up and got a few groceries.  When I got home, Debbie took two of the antibiotics.   We drove over to Patrick and Anndalyn's for their son, Camden Hobbs to open his mission call to Dalas Texas South Mission.  He goes into the MTC on June 23rd.  The aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were here.  The ones that were not, those in Twin F...

 4 Jul 2025, Friday Priorit ized Daily INDEPENDENCE DAY Amy Kelly's 54th Birthday 7:00 am - Freedom Run at BYU and breakfast with Beth and children Breakfast with Beth and the children 2:25 pm -Delta Flt. 2031, Pick Rae Lynn and Luke up at SLC Airport and take them to the cabin 9 pm - Fireworks at Jeff's in American Fork Debbie and I were up at 5:30 am, had prayer together, and drove down to Provo to watch Beth, Tucker, Maggie, Andrew, and Michael run in the Provo Freedom Run.  Afterwards, we went to breakfast at Maglebys' Fresh in Provo for breakfast.  On the way home, I stopped and got the Tesla washed.  When we got home, I took the Subaru Outback and filled it with gas.  I drove up to the SLC Airport and picked Rae Lynn and Luke, who flew in from Orlando.  Luke was competing in a volleyball tournament.  I took them to the cabin in Timber Lakes in Heber.  Brett and the boys, Ethan, Owen, Brody, and Weston, were there.  Brett's brother,...

 15 Jan 2025, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily 6:30 PM - Sleigh ride and dinner with Debbie at Park City (my 81st Birthday Party) I was up at 7 am, had prayer, and checked my text and email messages. Paul Ellison, Attorney in Bremen, emailed me a copy of the deed for 1.6 acres next to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church to build a family center.  In return, they assume responsibility for maintaining the graves of William Alexander and Manah M. McAlpin and Old Indian Cemetery at N33 48 24.5029 W85 21 17.5924.  Curt Lathon, a deacon, at the church did not get back to me today if Monique at the Haralson County Tax Assessor's office got a copy of the recorded deed.   Debbie went to Laura's and took Libby to lunch.  Libby had been at a job interview in Lehi.  Debbie got her hair fixed and bought a couple pairs of shoes to try and find some that don't hurt her feet.  She can take them back in a week if they hurt her feet.   Roy Bryant calle...
