12 Noon - Lunch with Michael

Strawberry Rodeo in Pleasant Grove, UT

I was up at 7 am, had prayer, and later had prayer with Debbie.  Michael striped the bed and washed the bed linen.  I put it in the dryer and made the bed for Jody and her family, who arrive today.  Later, Debbie and I met Michael, Rae Lynn, and Ethan at Aubergine Kitchen for lunch.  Afterwards, Rae Lynn rode with us home and loaded the things she had ordered online for Ethan into the Tesla car.   Ethan took the family car to pick Brody and Weston up at friends.   I took her to Michael Alleva's office to get his old Land Rover he keeps parked there at 13893 Minute Man Road in Draper.  There is a short that keeps the battery drained.  I took Rae Lynn to an Auto Parts Store to purchase some jumper cables.  Michael used his Toyota SUV to jump the Land Rover.  By the time we got back to the house in Lehi to get the towels, Rae Lynn had ordered for Ethan, Debbie had washed and dried while we were getting the Land Rover, Rae Lynn had decided she was glad she did not take Michael up on letting Ethan use the Land Rover while he is at BYU before serving a mission.  It is a hot day, and the air conditioner does not work.  Jody and her family arrived, and we met Laura and her family at the Strawberry Rodeo in Pleasant Grove.  Laura and George got tickets for all of us.   I think Michael was coming with a date, but I did not see him.  After the rodeo, music was played, and the stands emptied down into the arena, and the young people started dancing.  We took pictures and came home.  Debbie and I had prayer and got to bed about midnight.

 1 Mar 2025, Saturday Priorit ized Daily 8:00 pm - Camden opens his mission call to Dalas Texas South Mission We slept in, had prayer, and started the day.  Debbie's chest cold is not getting better.  Brad Gale, P. A., sent her a message that he would call as soon as he has a break.  I went to the Wells Fargo Bank here in town and got 200 new one-dollar bills for Debbie to make leis for Ethan and Gracie, who are graduating from high school this summer.  Brad Gale, PA, called Debbie back and sent a prescription to the Costco Pharmacy here in Lehi for 5 Azithromycin 250 mg tablets.  I picked them up and got a few groceries.  When I got home, Debbie took two of the antibiotics.   We drove over to Patrick and Anndalyn's for their son, Camden Hobbs to open his mission call to Dalas Texas South Mission.  He goes into the MTC on June 23rd.  The aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were here.  The ones that were not, those in Twin F...

 4 Jul 2025, Friday Priorit ized Daily INDEPENDENCE DAY Amy Kelly's 54th Birthday 7:00 am - Freedom Run at BYU and breakfast with Beth and children Breakfast with Beth and the children 2:25 pm -Delta Flt. 2031, Pick Rae Lynn and Luke up at SLC Airport and take them to the cabin 9 pm - Fireworks at Jeff's in American Fork Debbie and I were up at 5:30 am, had prayer together, and drove down to Provo to watch Beth, Tucker, Maggie, Andrew, and Michael run in the Provo Freedom Run.  Afterwards, we went to breakfast at Maglebys' Fresh in Provo for breakfast.  On the way home, I stopped and got the Tesla washed.  When we got home, I took the Subaru Outback and filled it with gas.  I drove up to the SLC Airport and picked Rae Lynn and Luke, who flew in from Orlando.  Luke was competing in a volleyball tournament.  I took them to the cabin in Timber Lakes in Heber.  Brett and the boys, Ethan, Owen, Brody, and Weston, were there.  Brett's brother,...

 15 Jan 2025, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily 6:30 PM - Sleigh ride and dinner with Debbie at Park City (my 81st Birthday Party) I was up at 7 am, had prayer, and checked my text and email messages. Paul Ellison, Attorney in Bremen, emailed me a copy of the deed for 1.6 acres next to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church to build a family center.  In return, they assume responsibility for maintaining the graves of William Alexander and Manah M. McAlpin and Old Indian Cemetery at N33 48 24.5029 W85 21 17.5924.  Curt Lathon, a deacon, at the church did not get back to me today if Monique at the Haralson County Tax Assessor's office got a copy of the recorded deed.   Debbie went to Laura's and took Libby to lunch.  Libby had been at a job interview in Lehi.  Debbie got her hair fixed and bought a couple pairs of shoes to try and find some that don't hurt her feet.  She can take them back in a week if they hurt her feet.   Roy Bryant calle...
