Symbolism - A symbol is something that stands in for or represents something else.

The Greek root of “symbolism” means “to throw together,”

Metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.

The Tree of Life is symbolic, as a tree bears fruit so does a woman bear fruit.   When you eat of the fruit of the tree of life, you will live forever.   The fruit of the woman that gives eternal life is Jesus Christ, the literal son of God; the only way of living forever in the presence of God is through Jesus Christ, who was nailed to a tree.  

Genesis 2: 8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.  9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Moses 4: 28 And I, the Lord God, said unto mine Only Begotten: Behold, the man is become as one of us to know good and evil; and now lest he put forth his hand and partake also of the tree of life, and eat and live forever, 

1 Nephi 18 And he said unto me: Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of the Son of God, after the manner of the flesh.....  20 And I looked and beheld the virgin again, bearing a child in her arms.  21 And the angel said unto me: Behold the Lamb of God, yea, even the Son of the Eternal Father! Sacrament - Bread and wine (water) represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ, which we eat in remembrance of Him who made it possible for us to have Eternal Life.

I slept in Owen's room last night; I woke at 6 am and had prayer.  Brett took Weston to basketball camp at Buchanan High School on his way to work.  Luke is taking Brody to basketball camp at 9:45 am and will bring Weston home.  I texted Debbie early this morning, and when she got up we had prayer before she started the day.  I filled the rental car with gas at Costco and picked Owen up at the gym training camp at 1570 Tollhouse Road in Clovis.  I read in the new where the Judge Dismisses Justin Baldoni’s Suit Against Blake Lively and The New York Times.  I sent it to Elain, and Blake siblings.  I also sent it to Uncle Dan.  I updated my Solar Sunny Portal SMA, Smart Energy Idaho account.  I played train where I pulled Westin across the smooth wood and tile floor, making sharp turns, and we played the card game, "Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza".  Luke took Westin to Buchanan High School for an hour of summer volleyball camp.  Luke him in and signed him in.  I stayed until camp was over.  I sent Rae Lynn and Brett pictures.  We stopped at the Stop and Go convenience store and got Westin a blue and pink icee.   When Brett and all the boys got home, Brett took us to a pizza restaurant for dinner.  When we got home Brett got the boys to bed.  I texted Debbie but she was asleep.  I had prayer and got to bed at about 10:30 pm.
