Note: In Sacrifice and Consecration 101 class, we learn that which we are not willing to consecrate will eventually own us. "No religion that does not require the sacrifice of all things never has power sufficient to produce the faith necessary unto life and salvation." Lectures on Faith by Joseph Smith
I had prayer, and when Debbie woke, we had prayer together. I showered, shaved, studied scriptures, read the news, and drove to my appointment to see Dr. Jake Fagan in Provo at 10:30 am. Will was the nurse who took my vital signs and got things ready for Dr. Fagan to do the surgery on my nose. He took more skin from the place on the left side where Dr. Macdonald had operated on June 23rd. I waited in the office until the report of tissue from my nose that was sent to the lab confirmed that all the cancerous cells had been removed. Carter and Alex texted us, and dinner with them was moved from Aug. 11th to the 12th. On the way home, I dropped off the load of dolls Debbie got from Jalna, her mother, at Deseret Industries in American Fork. When I got home, Jody and Shelby had gone to Nevada to take pre-wedding pictures. I studied scriptures D&C 85-87 before exercising. I texted Jake Lee, who conducted Andy Morris' funeral, about the itinerary. He did not have all the information from Jan, Andy's wife, but he sent me what he had. I worked on the 12-year-old cruise for next May. I warmed up leftovers for dinner and, after cleaning the kitchen, watched a movie. We had prayer and went to bed.
