 30 Apr 2025, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Visit with Alex and Carter before leaving tomorrow Melodie McAlpin's 44th Birthday I had a good night sleep, 8 hours, going to bed at 10:30 pm and up at 6:30 am.  Debbie and I had prayer and ate breakfast before Debbie started to take down and pack Easter decorations.  I started to pack for my trip to Georgia and Alabama tomorrow.  I texted Melodie a happy 44th birthday greeting and called and talked to Alex.  She and Carter had not left Newport Beach, CA.  I texted Autumn and may see all of them at 7 PM if they are in Provo this evening.  Debbie went to see Brad Gale apout pain in her neck and back.  She is also going to get ther nails done.  The girl who did does her nails did not show last week.  She is also going to see Dr. McCann. When Debbie came home, she brought me a hard-shell taco.  I called Clear, airline security, and learned I have membership through Nov 26th, 2025.  ...

 29 Apr 2025, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily TSA and Global Entry get updated 6:30 PM - Cody Leatham, wife Melina, children, Taggart, Kennedy, Harper - Scott Smith is traveling but his wife, Janna, children, Abby Marie, Ammon Albert, and Samuel James - Michael and Nancy Jardine - Roger Harmon - Dan Hammond, son Gabriel, and daughter and son; roast hot dogs and watch Himalayas slide show of pictures.   I was up at 7 am.  I got almost 10 hours of sleep.  I had my personal prayer and let Debbie sleep.   Debbie went to get her nails fixed and painted.  I set out the rhubarb in our garden that Laura brought over in a pot.  Matthew called and asked if I would drive up to the cabin and pick up the skis that he rented for Madeline, Bella, and Ava and return them to Al's Sporting Goods at 643 E University Parkway in Orem today.  On my way back I called and talked to Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter.  She is still working a...

 27 Apr 2025, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Call Jennifer Haygood about visiting Dave on Monday 10:00 am - Lehi 7th Ward Church 1:10 pm - Ministering report to Cody Letham I was up at 6 am; got 8 1/2 hours sleep.  Had my personal prayer, showered, shaved, and got ready for the day.  I went to bed at 10 pm, and everyone was still up except for Grayson.  Everyone else is still sleeping this morning. Debbie and I had prayer together and went to church at Lehi 7th Ward.  Jody, Cooper, Kenna, Grayson, and Shelby attended Sacrament.  I stayed afterwards for Priesthood and a ministering interview with Cody Leatham, Elders Quorum President, with brother Roger Harmon.  I came home and we had George, Laura, and the girls, Patrick and his children, Anndalyn is out of town, Jared and his family had other plans and could not come for dinner at 4:30 pm.  After dinner and dessert, we showed on TV a slide picture show of my trip last week to the Himalayas in Nep...

 26 Apr 2025, Saturday Priorit ized Daily I got a. good night's sleep.  I slept 8 hours, and was up at 5:30 am.  Later, Debbie and I had prayer.  Tony, Jodie, their children, and the grandbaby, along with Bradley and Keaton.  Some went for a run this morning.  We ate breakfast, and Debbie and I went to see Max play in a 7-man football tournament in Mega, in the western part of Salt Lake City.  Jared is one of the coaches.  When we got home, I had lunch and Debbie went shopping with Jody and Shelby for furniture for her and Bradley's home when they get married.  I talked to Glenda Frames in Delta, Alabama.  She said church services at Bethal start at 10:30 am for Sunday School and preaching at 11:30 am CST.  I am planning on going on May 11th, Mother's Day.  Curt texted me that the old Pleasant Hill Church minutes were burned when the church burned.  He said Sunday School starts at 10:00 am and worship service is from ...

 25 Apr 2025, Friday Priorit ized Daily 12:00 noon - Chris and Kara Traveller's home for Shelby's graduation party.   Bret and Amber Jorgensen, Bradley's dad and mother, his sister, and two brothers were there with 2 granddaughters were at the party.   Note: In the scriptures, there are only two people you are commanded to love with all your heart, one is the Lord, and the other is your wife. D&C 42:22,   Thou shalt love thy wife with all thy heart, and shalt cleave unto her and none else. Sandlewood Dr., Lehi, UT REI, Outdoor Sports Store, exchange shoes 5:45 pm - Saratoga Springs Temple endowment session I was up at 7 am and had prayer.  Debbie got up, and we had prayer together.  She cooked cream of wheat and toast for breakfast.  She has an angel food cake made for tonight.  I finished unpacking and putting things away from my hiking trip.  Debbie showered and went to get her hair fixed.  I ate lunch and listened to Christ's resurrection from the New Testament, D&C, and Church History before going for the message Debbie gave me.  Betty was the messaur and gave a good 1 1/2 hour message.  Afterwards, I went up to REI and got some help to order a set of shoe quick-lace kit.  I paid $10 for the laces and $10 for shipping.  I expected the laces to last more than a month.  I bought the shoes on March 11, and a week before I left f...

 22 Apr 2025, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Incheon/Seoul, Korea We landed in Incheon at 4:45 am.  It was early in the morning of Tuesday, April 22, and all the airport was not open, and the workers did not understand that I wanted to get to the Terminal or Transfer Hotel.  They kept trying to direct me out of the airport to a shuttle to a hotel.  I was finally able to get to the concourse and found the Terminal Hotel, but I had not made a reservation, and there were no rooms available.  The clerk told me he would have a room opening at 9 am.  I booked it for 9 hours.  I went to a waiting area for people like me who have layovers, where there are lounge chairs where you can lie down.  There were two areas, and all the beds were taken except for one I saw.  I had a small cart I found to put my computer bag in, and I put it next to the lounge chair and slept from 6 am to 9 am.  I went back to the Terminal Hotel and checked into my room....

 21 Apr 2025, Monday Priorit ized Daily I got up at 6 am, had prayer, and called Debbie.  Some of the children and grandchildren were overhunting Easter Eggs.  She said Ocie was really enjoying it.  I had a good breakfast this morning with no problems with my stomach.  I transferred pictures from my phone to my computer and some to my journal.  Debbie called when the children left, and we had prayer together.  Matthew called to check on me, and Michael sent a text.  I missed Rae Lynn's call.  Beth comments on the pictures and texts.  I took a long, hot shower and shaved.  It really felt good, but I did not check my phone.  Sudip walked over to see if I was OK.  I put everything I brought over in my duffle bag and computer bag.   I checked out of my room and weighed my duffle bag, 19 kg = 42 pounds.  Supid gave me a couple of gifts, a national hat and scarf.  He had a cab waiting and took us to the ...

 20 Apr 2025, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Note: In life, I want to look past what I want and find out what the Lord wants for me.  Then that is what I must want.   The Lord put it much better, we must bring the body in subjection to the spirit.  19 Apr 2025, Saturday Priorit ized Daily I had prayer and met Supid in the hotel restaurant.  Watery soup and toast again for breakfast.  We had to wait until the afternoon before the weather cleared enough for the planes to land and take off.  Sudip changed our flight from Rauachap, where we would have a 4 or 5 hour van ride back to Katemandu, to a direct flight into Katemandu.  Sudip got us a cab to the Katemandu Suite Home hotel.  We got checked in, and I called and talked to Debbie.  I took a long hot shower before having prayer and going to bed. Day 9th /19th April is second Acclimatize day after breakafast we do some leatel hi and back lo to Dingboche  have lunch and rest.

 14 Apr 2025, Monday Priorit ized Daily 1st  day with  diarrhea 12:30 am Mahendra, night clerk at the Kathmandu Suite Home Hotel. Sudip helped me bring 3 bags down from room 406.  Mahendra checked my computer bag in a locked area behind the front desk, and my duffle bag was put in storage until I return.  Mahendra gave us claim tickets for our bags and two large to-go breakfast boxes. Sudip carried both of our large backpacks, and I took a small one with water, etc., about 1/4 mile where we met our van and other hikers going to Ramachap.   We rode for 41/2 hr.      Arrived in Ramachap on the Sunkoshi River.  Sudip had one of the group who had gotten in the front seat to get out and give the front seat for our ride over rough roads to Ramechap to catch a flight to Lukau.                      At Lukau we met Raj, our porter, at the airport.        ...

 13 Apr 2025, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Day 3/13th April, prepare for trek starting tomorrow at 1:30 am and rest. Brody Hobbs's 11th Birthday Lele Ruth Markey's 3rd Birthday 9:30 am - Supid and his two children invited me to go with them to the Monkey Temple here in Katmandu I was up at 7 am, had prayer and later called and talked to Debbie.  It is still Saturday night in Utah.  We had prayer together and I had breakfast downstairs.  It is provided by the hotel.  I sent Lele Ruth and Brody happy birthday greeting from me and Debbie.  Supid came by the hotel and we walked down to where his wife, Shova Kendel was working.  Their children, Suie, a son age 13 and Supriva, a daughter age 9 were staying until Suipd and I arrived.  I took a picture of them in the store.  Supid, the children, and I walked to the Swayambhu, the Budist Monkey Temple.  We climbed the steps to the top of the hill, about 400 steps.  I took pictures and we c...

From my journal, 28 Sep 2019, Saturday - Church in Katmandu has about  300 members on roll and about 64 in attendance.  The cab driver waited on us until church was over at noon and brought Debbie and Karlene back to the Marriott.  I picked up my duffel bag I left at the hotel when I moved over to the Kathmandu Hotel where Himalayan Wonders had arranged for me to stay......
